FELICIANO CENTURIÓN, San Ignacio, Paraguay, 1962 – Buenos Aires, 1996.

Feliciano Centurión was a Paraguayan visual artist who studied and worked in Buenos Aires until the time of his death from AIDS-related complications. In the nineteen-nineties, he formed part of the group of artists clustered around the gallery at the He exhibited at galleries and museums in Asunción, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Porto Alegre, and Paris, and at the fifth edition of the Havana Biennial. His work forms part of the collections of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Buenos Aires) and the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires. More recently, his work was featured at the 33rd São Paulo Biennial in the section entitled Afinidades afectivas (2018) and in the anthological exhibition entitled Abrigo. Feliciano Centurión (Americas Society, New York, 2020).
